Become a Patient
There are several ways to become a patient at Emory Breast Center.
To schedule your annual screening mammogram or a diagnostic imaging procedure, please call 404-778-PINK.
Orders are not needed for routine screening mammograms, as long as you are established with a primary care or gynecology provider. All diagnostic testing requires an order from your provider. Please have your physician complete the mammography order form (PDF 216 KB).
If you have a breast health concern such as:
- lump
- discharge
- pain
- abnormal mammogram
- being at high risk
- family history of breast cancer
Or if you are:
- newly diagnosed with breast cancer
- seeking a second opinion

Newly Diagnosed: Your First Appointment
Before your first appointment, you will need:
- A copy of records pertaining to your breast concern
- Any breast imaging films (mammogram, ultrasound, MRI)
- Printed hard copy of breast imaging reports
- Pathology slides (for known breast cancer)
- Printed hard copy of pathology reports
During your initial consultation, your health care team will carefully review these materials in order to create an appropriate plan of care. We understand that this is a very stressful time, and we welcome all of your questions.

Preparing For Your Procedure
First-time patients are requested to bring to their appointment any previous mammograms that have been performed elsewhere. This facilitates our ability to review changes in the breast and provide final results as quickly as possible. Patients can expedite the process of the first visit by filling out the necessary patient information from in advance of the appointment.
